SSC CGL

Tier I

Tier I examination is a computer-based online test of200 marks in 60 minutes. There is a negative marking of 0.50 Marks for each wrong answer. There is no sectional cut off.

Tier II

This is an online based examination consisting of 4 papers as mentioned in the table. Each paper is of 2 hours time duration. Out of these 4 papers, only two papers i.e. Paper-I and Paper-II are compulsory for all the students. Paper 3 is only for Statistical Investigator Gr II & Compiler Post while Paper 4 is for Asst. Audit Officer Gazetted Group "B" Post only.

SSC CHSL

SSC conducts every year is the SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level exam, popularly known as the SSC CHSL exam. This exam is conducted for the recruitment of Lower Divisional Clerks (LDC), Data Entry Operators (DEO), Postal Assistants, Sorting Assistants etc.

There are three stages in SSC CHSL exam:
SSC CHSL Tier I - Computer Based Written Examination
SSC CHSL Tier II - Descriptive Test
SSC CHSL Tier III - Skill Test / Typing Test for the posts of DEO, PA/SA, LDC, and Court Clerk

There is a penalty for wrong answers in this exam; 0.50 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer,

Except for the English Language section, this test will be conducted bilingually, i.e. in English and Hindi.

Tier II

This is a descriptive exam that is designed to test the written skills of the candidates in English/Hindi.

Tier III

Tier-III of SSC CHSL 2019 will be a Skill/ Typing Test of qualifying nature. The final merit of the selected candidates will be based on the basis of total score obtained in Tier-I and Tier-II.

Skill test for the post of Data Entry Operator:
In this test, a candidate should have data entry speed of 8,000 (eight thousand) Key Depressions per hour.
Duration of the Test is 15 minutes and English document having about 2000-2200 strokes/key-depressions is given to type.


SSC MTS

SSC conducts Multi-Tasking Staff recruitment exam in two stages - Paper I (CBT) and Paper II (PBT).

Paper II

Paper II will be descriptive/writing paper.

The paper will consists one question on short essay writing/letter writing in English or any language included in the 8TH Schedule of the Constitution.

1. Paper I consists of 100 questions; each question will carry 1 mark each.

2. Negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

3. Paper II is of qualifying nature and will only test candidates' elementary skills. It will have maximum marks of 50. Only those who qualify the paper I will be eligible to write Paper II.

I. For Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer-
Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University or Institute
Desirable Qualifications: Chartered Accountant or cost & Management Accountant or Company Secretary or Masters in Commerce or Masters in Business Studies or Masters in Business Administration (Finance) or Masters in Business Economics.
II. For Junior Statistical Officer- Bachelor's Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at 12th standard level or Bachelor's Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.
CHSL Minimum - 18 years
Maximum - 27 years
For Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant /LDC- passed 12th standard or equivalent examination from a recognized university.
For Data Entry Operator in the office of Comptroller General and Auditor General of India - passed 12th in Science stream with mathematics as a subject.
MTS 18-25 years as on the date of application. A candidate must have passed matriculation examination or equivalent from a recognized board.
