Tutor Jar - Competitive Exams



MAH CET will be conducted online by State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET CELL) established by the Government of Maharashtra, under Admission Regulating Authority (ARA)

  • The candidate should be an Indian National;
  • Passed minimum three year duration Bachelor's Degree awarded by University recognized by University Grants Commission or Association of Indian Universities in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent (at least 45% in case of candidates of backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only);
  • Studied Mathematics as one of the subjects at (10+2) level or at Graduate level examination;
  • For Direct second year admissions, the candidate should have passed Bachelor Degree in Computer Applications or Science (Information Technology or Computer Science);
  • Candidates appearing for final year of qualifying examination are also eligible to appear for CET.
MAH-CET paper has four components:

A. Logical reasoning
B. Abstract Reasoning
C. Quantitative Aptitude
D. Verbal Ability/ Reading comprehension

  • The exam consists of multiple choice objective type questions.
  • The total number of questions will be 200
  • The duration of the exam will be 150 minutes.
  • There is no negative marks for incorrect answers.

The admission to the management courses such as MBA/MMS/PGDBM/PGDM is a centralized process and covered under Centralized Admission Process (CAP) carried out by the Competent Authority of the State of Maharashtra.

Study Material:
In these, the basic concepts of each topic of the subject are given with examples. These are followed by exercises to impart the basic knowledge of the subject to the students.
Test papers: The test papers are prepared with questions covering all the basic concepts. The tests have time limit and are conducted in the classroom. The tests are useful for the students for practice.

Classroom coaching: The classroom coaching has two modules - Basic Module, Individual Test Paper.

  • Basic Module: In this module, the basic concepts are taught to the students. The classes are designed such that the teaching of the concepts progresses from the absolute basic level to the level of MAH-CET.
  • Individual Test Papers: Once the basic concepts are taught, individual test papers are conducted at the end of each chapter/topic. The tests are followed by the discussions on the paper in the classroom. These sessions help to reinforce the concepts already learnt.
